Mar. 9--Senior U.S. District Court Judge R. Allan Edgar sentenced an Estill Springs, Tenn., man to the maximum sentence this week for producing child pornography.
Eugene Clowers will serve 30 years in a federal prison.
According to a news release from the U.S. attorney's office, several victims testified during the sentencing hearing that they were forced to have sex with Mr. Clowers, who often threatened them with razors, firearms and a drill.
Assistant U.S. Attorney John MacCoon called the acts "heinous" and said Mr. Cowers deserved the maximum sentence.
