A revival of residual values at Ford Motor Co. does not include its minivans.
Automotive Lease Guide forecasts 2005 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans will have a resale value of 35 percent of their sticker prices after three years. By contrast, the guide predicts a three-year residual value of 60 percent for the 2005 Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna.
The company also projects that the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country minivan will hold 52 percent of its sticker price after three years.
Automotive Lease Guide, of Santa Barbara, Calif., is the industry benchmark for setting residual values.
